Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use a few of them on fivonaccie.com to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. They are on by default, and you can turn any of them off at any time using the . Your choice sticks.

1. Necessary cookies

These keep the site working and remember the choice you made in the cookie banner. They do not track you and they cannot be turned off.

  • fiv-consent-v1 (browser storage) remembers your cookie preferences so we do not ask on every visit. Kept until you clear it.

2. Analytics cookies

On unless you turn them off. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people visit, where they come from, and where they leave. This helps us make the site better. IP addresses are anonymized.

  • _ga distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_* keeps session state. Expires after 2 years.

We also count visits with our own system. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data (visits are recorded under an anonymous code that changes daily), and it follows the same analytics toggle.

3. Marketing cookies

On unless you turn them off. These come from Meta and LinkedIn. We are not running ads today; when we do, they will measure whether those ads work and let us reach people who already visited the site.

  • _fbp (Meta) identifies browsers for ad measurement on Facebook and Instagram. Expires after 3 months.
  • li_sugr, bcookie, lidc (LinkedIn) support ad measurement and retargeting on LinkedIn. Expire between 1 day and 1 year.

Meta and LinkedIn process this data under their own policies: Meta privacy policy and LinkedIn privacy policy.

4. How to control cookies

  • Open to change your choice for this site. Turning a category off takes effect right away.
  • Your browser can block or delete cookies for any site. Look for "cookies" in your browser's privacy settings.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
